Detailed Description of Job Opening: Vodafone Excellent Recruitment Drive: Oracle DBA Professionals - On Aug 2015 Pune Location
Required Skills: Oracle DBA Professionals
* Must have good experience and sound exposure of latest Oracle technologies including Oracle 11g/10g, RMAN, ASM, RAC and Data Guard etc.
* Should have worked on Installation, configuration, Migration and up-gradation of Oracle products.
* Should give performance related suggestions to development team/planning team in new implementation environment.
* Shell/AWK scripting knowledge is added advantage.
* Should have worked on migrations like: Cross-platform, non-RAC to RAC and non-ASM to ASM.
* Must have working knowledge on OEM.
* Sound exposure in backup and recovery of databases.
* Should have exposure on RAC.
* Should know installation process of RAC across various platforms. Most preferred environment-Linux.
* Should have administration skill of RAC.
* Should have understanding of on ASM technology.
* Should have working exposure on ASM on stand-alone databases and RAC databases.
* Able to handle maintenance of ASM disks and disk groups
